Bite registration
ArrowPath Sleep Airway Bite
The Airway Bite records the protrusive bite registration that a mandibular advancement device is built around. The device is tried in the mouth and relined with silicone, then used to map the patient’s full range of jaw movement — typically 10–12 mm from fully retruded to fully protruded.
Once the target forward position is identified and held with flowable composite, the bite is captured by digital scan and sent to the lab to fabricate the appliance. A silicone bite registration can be taken instead if no scanner is available.
Use it when fabricating a MAD for the Airway indication.
